Dreamless (demo)

THE STORY

Step into the hooves of Anne the goat and explore an interstellar research facility! Handle unknown materials, maintain the most professional standards, and ensure that you and your crewmates make it through the job unscathed. Or succumb to the various dangerous (but oddly appealing?) aliens and outside influences that could corrupt and dismantle the entire journey. Maybe the entire industry. Maybe make out with a hyena!

 

GAMEPLAY

This interactive novel is made with Ren'py and currently uses the base UI. There is a linear storyline that is introduced from the start, but requires navigating through areas with the use of menus. In this way you will be able to explore different locations freely as more content is added. Each area has, or will have, it's own art and roles to be played. There are some character arts and there should be some animation in there eventually as well. Depending on how fast you read, this will probably only take about 15-20 minutes to go through. (Roughly 5,500 wordcount right now.)

There may be bugs and there are some endings that will result if you pick certain choices, but going through random rooms should be safe at least. Not much to look at in those yet though!


TO PLAY

Unzip the downloaded file and extract to a convenient folder.

Click on the ".exe" application file and run! 

Currently should run on Windows and Linux.
